Privacy Policy

Ticketsmoon (“we”, “us”) operates ticketsmoon.com. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our customers’ personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We collect information you give us and information created when you use the Platform:

• Account details — name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Booking details — the events and ticket types you buy, order history, ticket holder name, check-in status.
• Payment details — processed by our payment gateway, Genie Business. We receive confirmation of payment and a reference; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data — pages viewed, searches, browser and device type, and IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications — messages you send us for support.

• process your bookings and issue your tickets;
• send transactional messages by email and SMS (booking confirmation, tickets, refund notices, event reminders);
• provide customer support;
• detect, prevent and investigate fraud and misuse;
• operate, secure and improve the Platform;
• comply with legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Event partners and venue entry staff — the ticket holder name and check-in status for the event you are attending, so entry can be managed at the door. They are contractually restricted to using this only to run that event.
• Payment gateway — Genie Business processes payments and refunds on our behalf. See Genie Business’s privacy policy.
• Service providers — hosting, database, email and SMS delivery, image hosting and error monitoring, each bound by confidentiality and permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal — where required by law, court order or a government authority, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.
• Business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then not work correctly.

We protect your information with measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and using a PCI-compliant payment gateway so card data never touches our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. Transaction records are kept for at least 6 years to meet accounting and legal requirements. You can ask us to close your account and delete data we are not required to keep by contacting us.

You may ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete data we are not legally required to keep;
• stop sending you non-essential communications.

To make a request, email privacy@ticketsmoon.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

The Platform is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, if the changes are material, notify registered users by email. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
